Beeswax is not absorbed by the skin, but it makes a great protective barrier on the skin, helping to keep the skin moisturised.
Eco Marine Algae Extract - Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cylindrotheca Fusiformis Extract
This Marine Algae Extract is rich in sterols and Omega 3, stimulating the production of skin proteins, promotes healing and works to restore natural suppleness and strengthen the skin by improving the skins elasticity.
According to the supplier of the Marine Algae Extract tests have shown its capacity to stimulate the cells and increase collagen synthesis.
The Algae is grown in Italy in an eco facility, thus guaranteeing the purity of the algae and ensuring it has no adverse effects on the oceans.
When storing your cream it is recommended to keep it out of the sun in a cool place, you can store it in the fridge to make a very refreshing cream.
Emulsifiers - Glyceryl Stearate & Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate
Both of these emulsifiers are used by the food industry in Scandinavia to make Vegan Ice cream, being edible shows they are good quality safe products.
They are made from Palm Oil which comes from suppliers who are either members of the Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil or a subsidiary company or who are members of FEDIOL which supports sustainability. The lactic acid used is produced by non-GMO bacterial fermentation of sugar beets from the EU. The rapeseed oil used is non GMO.
Glycerine – Glycerin
Is completely derived from coconut, it helps to moisturise the skin and stop the skin from drying out.
Hyaluronic Acid – Sodium Hyaluronate
Also known as “The Fountain of Youth” added to creams for its skin rejuvenating properties. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of the skin with ageing the skin can lose Hyaluronic Acid causing the skin to lose volume and wrinkles to form.
Hyaluronic Acid can absorb over 600 times its own weight in water, making it very beneficial in hydrating the skin, increasing smoothness, softness and reduction of wrinkles.
Some Hyaluronic Acid used in moisturisers have been sourced from Rooster’s combs, the Hyaluronic acid used in Essential Creams is sourced from a reputably supplier where it is made by producing enzymes from a bacteria-based bio-fermentation process.
Preservatives - Phenoxyethanol & Ethylhexylglycerin
A Paraben free gentle broad spectrum preservative, derived from Coconut.
Pseudo Collagen - Faex Extract
The appearance of the skin relates directly to its ability to bind water, with aging the collagen and elastin are reduced in the tissues. Pseudo Collagen mimics the action of collagen and increases the skins elasticity, makes the skin more resilient and has an excellent moisturising affect on the skin.
This Pseudo Collagen has been extracted from the intra-cellular matrix from yeast cells in a water-soluble “Pseudo collagenous” form which is suitable for use in cosmetics, the moisturising extract is a complex of sugars and proteins. The supplier of the Pseudo Collagen has ensured that neither GM crops or animals are used in its production.
Vitamin E - Tocopherol
Is one of the most researched antioxidants for the skin, it occurs naturally in our skin and protects against free radicals. It is a 100% natural product and is GM free.
